Funny Picture

This could be one of my most favorite pictures...ever! Love the droopy eyes and of course the dog in her mouth. This is not an uncommon look for her, that dog is usually in her mouth as she walks around the house. (don't worry, it gets washed A LOT)

Primary Program

Today, Aubrey was in her very first primary program. It was all that I expected...shouting out "hi Daddy, hi Mommy" "where is Kennedy", waving, waving, and more waving. She was so cute. Both Bob and I were so proud of her. She was given a couple of lines that she needed to memorize. She memorized them in no time. When it came time for her part she did great! Along with the other kids in her sunbeam class. Looking forward to all her years in primary. Can't wait until we have both Aubrey & Kennedy up there.

We can love each other as Jesus loves us. Paul said, if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we can have fellowship with one another.

Gratitude

I've been helping my Mom "try" to organize her house. Along the way, I've found some old boxes of my stuff. Mostly things I wouldn't mind throwing out, but I did come across this book my sister Susan gave me years ago. Its called The Simply Abundance Journal of Gratitude. This book is so cool, or I should say journal. You have to write down 5 things everyday that your grateful for. I only had about a month or so filled out, but re-reading some of the things I wrote were pretty cool. I am going to start doing this journal again. It's so easy, at least for me, to get caught up in the daily grime of life. Especially as a Mom! I've been feeling like I've been in a never ending cycle...wake up, make beds, feed kids, get kids dressed, laundry, playing with kids, cleaning, cleaning, cleaning, cooking, trying to remember if I had brushed my teeth,...and the list goes on. I've forgotten to recognize the joys in life. So this is my new goal...I'm going to write down at least five things that I am grateful for that day. Starting now...

1. My Husband - for finishing a house project that's been going on for two years! :) Thank you so much, it looks great.
2. My kids - we went to the park today and had so much fun.
3. Alone time - everyone in my house seems to go to bed early (not complaining) this is MY time and I enjoy it very much.
4. My Mom - even when I'm married and should be able to take care of myself, she still does such a good job taking care of me. She is wonder woman and I appreciate all she does for me.
5. Facebook - I really am grateful for this - funny, I know. It has re-connected me with so many great people. It's been so much fun to see pictures of old friends and to know a little of what's going on in their lives.

Yea...it's back!

I am so excited for the new season of The Office. I love this show! Tonight's episode was so funny. Can't wait until next week.

*Can we all tell that I'm desperate for things to blog about? I'm hoping to take the kids to get pumpkins in the near future...that should be a good post. Stay tuned.

Kenny Pooh turns 1 1/2

Today, Kennedy had her 18 month well check visit. Our little bundle of drama is now a whopping 25 pounds! Which puts her in the 64% tile. Here's the shocker...she's tall! 97% tile for her height. Well since Bob and I are so tall, I guess it's not that big of a shocker! :)

my favorite time of the year

The first day of Fall is not officially until September 22. But I love this time of year that I just couldn't wait to post a fall picture. I was driving up to my parents house today and noticed that the leaves are already starting to change. I can't wait to bust out the warm sweaters and drink hot chocolate! And knowing that the weather is changing means that ski season is right around the corner. Yeah!

I Yearbooked Myself!

Ok, so everyone should check out this website! I've always wondered what I would have looked like in the 50's and 60's. Well not really...but this gives me a good idea. You can Yearbook yourself all the way from the 50's to the 2000's. These two were my favorite. Love the glasses...fabulous! And the beehive hair do...love it!

Pretty Cool

I have to thank it's no biggie blog for this idea. She had this link posted on her blog (which is such a fun blog). So I thought I would check it out. I think these pictures are so cool! You too can do this...http://www.dumpr.net

The Dog Pound

Meet Kennedy's B.F.F.'s. They are all named doggie. Pretty original, I know. The one on the top is by far her most favorite. She stole this dog from her Aunt Julie. I'll try to teach her when she's older that stealing is not right, but for now he's ours :)! Thanks Julie. Kevin was getting to old for this stuffed animal anyway!

Best Friends

Meet Teddy. Teddy is Aubrey's B.F.F. Her Grandma Kolman got this bear for her when she was about 6 months old, and hasn't parted from him since! (as you can probably tell)

Addicted!

So I borrowed the complete seasons of Friends from Kimmy and now I'm totally addicted! I have lost precious sleep because of this. For the last four nights when everyone goes to bed I put in a disc and laugh my head off! I have forgotten how funny these shows are or were (not sure about the correct verbage). I'm going to need some serious make up to cover up the dark circles. Thanks Kimmy!

Just for fun

Your Famous Movie Kiss is from
The Empire Strikes Back

How totally random is this...I wouldn't say this is my movie of choice. Even though I do love Star Wars! I'm sure this quiz knows me better then I know myself! Harrison Ford...not to shabby.

Good Times at the Zoo!

I just love taking the kids to the zoo. We had the best time! Note to self...and who ever reads this, September is the best time to go. No crowds and perfect temperature. Kennedy and Kolman were loving the animals, and Aubrey wanted to know every detail about each animal. Where they live, eat, etc...

Sorry about posting a million pictures, just couldn't decide which ones to post!
