Love love love this movie! What a way to kick off the summer with a great chick flick. I love movies that you can laugh out loud from beginning to end and this is one of those. I will own this one for sure! Thanks Andrea & Britnee for a movie night. P.S. We need to do that more often.

What will that child say next...
My sister and her kids were over at our house last week, and we were making Pot Stickers. Aubrey was trying to get my nephew Kolman to try to eat them. She said..."Kolman, do you want to try a Pot Sticker?" Kolman said..."no" Aubrey replies with..."You should try them, they're really good, they have pot in them"! Bob and I just looked at each other and started laughing! I can't wait until that gets around...Jen puts pot in her pot stickers! Ha ha ha
Then here's another funny...This evening Aubrey said that her tummy hurt a little bit. She said that she was full of gasoline and had to get her toots out!
I just love that girl!

Meet Mr. or Mrs. Egg
One Year Later...
I just realized that it has been ONE year since my very first post! I'm a bloggin' fool. I've decided that I'm going to print my blog every year, so at the end of each year I'm going to do a "year in review"...
This past year has been great! Aubrey started and finished preschool. She is as social as ever. She has outgrown her bike and "hopefully" will be getting a new one for her birthday. We registered her for Kindergarten, which was a crazy moment for me. I kept looking around for my mom to help me out. I've never been the grown-up when it came to school. She is so excited to start kindergarten. She has just finished her second year of swim lessons. Last year she didn't like going underwater, but this year is a different story. She spends more time underwater then out. She loves to color, sing, dance, jump on the trampoline, drive her pink Cadillac w/ Kennedy, plays with friends and most of all she loves to entertain her family (which she does rather well).
Kennedy is now sleeping in a "big girl bed"! It has been a smooth transition from crib to bed. She is still taking naps, which is heaven! We are going to start working on potty training soon. She LOVES her big sister. She has to have everything Aubrey has and wants to do everything Aubrey does. She has a feisty personality! I think she might have the best lungs ever. She is also really funny. She is still giving us "the look". She loves the trampoline too. Kennedy and I are in swim lessons too this year. We are in a Mom/Tot class. She loves the water and is really good a kicking her little chubby legs.
Bob is still @ BYU and loving it. He just got back from Lake Powell with the YM in our ward. He had such a good time. He has made a total of 4 surf boards and is now working on the 5th. Because everyone needs 5 surf boards!
And as for me, not much has changed in the last year. I'm still a mom. Still trying to find time to shower! I love being a mom. Expecially to my sweet girls. It's so fun to see them grow and to become such good friends. They are my little best friends and I'm so lucky to be their mom. Man I'm boring...I'm sitting here trying to think of things I've done in a year and not much is coming to mind. Pretty much things stay the same around here, which is not always a bad thing. Hopefully this next year will have big things in store for me!

Happy Birthday Bob!
Today is my sweet husbands 48th birthday. We had a small family get together at our house. Aubrey and I made the cake (pictures to come...)
Bob, I hope you know how much I appreciate you and how much I love you. You are a terrific father and a wonderful husband. I want to thank you for all you do for me and the girls. You're the best! I guess I could list "48" things I love about you, but I don't want to make people throw up :)

Oh, I just thought of something funny that happened a little bit ago...
I was reading a blog of a friend and she was talking about how much she loves her husband and all the wonderful things he does for her, well on the list was "I love that my husband puts toothpaste on my toothbrush every night before we go to bed". I was reading this out loud to Bob and he started laughing..."who does that"!
The next morning, Bob comes and wakes me up..."Jen, you didn't brush your teeth last night"? He had put tooth paste on my toothbrush and I didn't even get to use it! By the way, don't judge me! It was late and sometimes I'm just to tired.
Anyway, Happy Birthday Buster! I love you.
