Tonight I was reminded of the show Fear Factor. I am totally embarrassed to admit that I had a MOUSE in my house tonight. YUCK. I was sitting on the couch just minding my own business, when a little creature decided to show up. And lets just say that I freaked! I jumped up on the coffee table and started calling for Bob. Total wuss...I know. Bob kept reminding me that "your bigger then the mouse" "he is more scared of you then you are of it" - how do we even know that logic is true. Has anyone talked to a mouse and asked him. Because I'm sure the mouse would reply saying..."I am SO not afraid of that girl, look at her she's up on a table almost in tears"! Yes, I bet that's exactly what he or she would say!
So, when I would watch Fear Factor I would always say..."oh I could totally do that" or "man that girl is such a wuss". HELLO...I could have NEVER gone on that show. If a tiny mouse scared the you know what out of me, then just think of what a tub full of spider would do!

Jen, you are such a wuss! (and so am I)
I'm not afraid of mice when I see them in the pet store in a glass cage, but they instill fear when I see them loose in my house. They also instill disgust. And the desire to scour my house.
I think they start to come in each fall as the weather cools.
Yeah a mouse!!! That is hilarious!!! Do you remember the Piute house? Yikes!!! Need i say more?...Your Halloween pictures are adorable!!! You look so dang cute!
sounds like somebody needs a cat... :)
Jen, I watched that show the other day and realized I couldn't one challenge in all the episodes I saw. You are not a wuss. We had a little rodent in our house last year...only it wasn't a mouse...but a rat!! Gross!!! I was horrified! It all happened when Ratatouille came out. I did not like that movie!
Don't worry, I could NEVER go on Fear Factor. I've always known it. I'm not too worried about mice but any kind of insect does me in.
You know, mice make me think of (in no particular order):
1) drug testing facilities
2) Mossflower
3) hanta virus
4) cheese
If you eliminate #s 1 and 3, most of the negative connotation goes away, and you've got a cute, squeaky, scurrying ball of fur. Just be glad that neither Kennedy nor Aubrey want one for a pet!
Yeah, I guess for me it totally depends on the situation. If its in the house, I am scared. If I find one outside, at the pet store, or on TV, its cute. By the way, the mouse on your blog is way cute.
